Knight Foundation names 62 finalists in 2019 Knight Arts Challenge Detroit - Knight Foundation
I can finally announce that my project "Beyond Vincent Chin: Legacies in Action and Art" is one of 62 finalists in the Knight Arts Challenge Detroit! The proposal seeks to put together an anthology of essays by activists about how the case has inspired them, and to build a digital arts archive of art inspired by the case, plus a fabulous arts-filled launch event. Thanks to all my partners: Wayne State Univ Press, Univ of Michigan Library, IS/LAND, American Citizens for Justice. Fingers crossed and breath held until Sept announcement of winners. Thanks Knight Foundation!
